Deep condition hair when necessary.
When washing hair be careful how you are massaging so you will not tangle the hair. Comb hair from bottom to top first and then proceed to washing hair.
Remember to always use heat protectant when styling hair with hot tools.

Always comb or brush hair from bottom to top.
Apply a moisture rich conditioner and comb hair, starting with the ends working your way up to your roots.
With curly hair, moisture is KEY. Deep condition hair for 15-30 minutes. If you have the time deep condition hair for 30 minutes to an hour.
Never detangle hair while dry, always wet the hair first and then detangle. To make the detangling process smoother, add conditioner to water. Start from bottom to top.
After washing hair add a little oil or shine serum to lock in moisture. You can even apply a little mousse and let it air dry. Letting the hair air dry allows curls to fall and dry naturally
Once curly hair becomes dry and starts to matte up, that means it is time to wash your hair.
Co-wash hair 2-3 times a month.
